Are you new to yoga?

Bodhi welcomes all levels of Yoga enthusiasts into our space. You’ll always be greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The studio is a quiet, relaxed space, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We invite all levels of budding yogi’s to come and connect, relax, let go and transform both mentally and physically with like minded people.

We also have our Beginners workshop series which is a great place to start for any new yogi. These classes really slow things down and teach the basics in an open forum style class. You will still be completing yoga poses throughout the course too.

If you are completely new to yoga but are just wanting to practice, we recommend attending classes that have a (bf) next to it on our interactive calendar (bf stands for “beginner friendly”).

The classes for beginners to avoid (at least for your first couple of sessions) are the Vinyasa style. These classes tend to be a little faster and this may be something you need to build up to. If you are physically strong and fit from other training you do, these types of classes will be fine to attend, especially if you are looking to be challenged in your practice.
