Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Retreats in India – an overview from Chris & Allie
This is by far one of the most amazing, phenomenal, mentally and physically challenging months (or you can choose to do 7-10 days) of anyone’s life! It is something that everyone should experience once in there lifetime, regardless if you want to be a yoga teacher or not. This month will challenge you in ways you’ve never been challenged before and help you to break through anything that has held you back before.
With two daily yoga classes, meditation sessions, pranayama classes and just being immersed in one of the most spiritually connected places in the world, is an experience to behold. Ashram life is also includes Anatomy, Philosophy, Alignment and Adjustment. Three cleansing meals per day, and two days of every seven your time, this is the new style of holiday. Lots of sightseeing can be done in the local area.
The teachers are also first class and each Yoga Teacher Trainer group is assigned a Swami, also known as “Lord or Master” and they are awakened spirits with a wealth of knowledge. They guide us through our meditations with amazing stories passed down from generations. They are simply the best people to be around!
Allie and Chris are happy to discuss teacher training in Rishikesh, India and are looking forward to taking a few of our students to India the next time we head over, if you’re interested please drop us a line or register your interest below. We have been to other parts of India also, but recommend the Mecca i.e. Rishikesh for your first visit as this is Teacher Training city and right at the foot hills of the himalayan mountains and also very close to Nepal.
