New to Yoga?

Bodhi welcomes all levels of Yoga enthusiasts into our space. You’ll always be greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The studio is a quiet, relaxed space, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We invite all levels of budding yogi’s to come and connect, relax, let go and transform both mentally and physically with like minded people.

We also have our Beginners workshop series which is a great place to start for any new yogi. These classes really slow things down and teach the basics in an open forum style class. You will still be completing yoga poses throughout the course too.

If you are completely new to yoga and are looking to begin your yoga practice in a regular class, we recommend reviewing our different yoga classes and selecting to partake in one that is Beginner Friendly (bf). Our class information page will really help to provide a deeper overview of each style of yoga we teach (we have seven different styles). When you have selected the style that matches your skill level, simply use our interactive calendar and schedule your first class!

Yoga for newbies

The classes for beginners to avoid (at least for your first couple of sessions) are the Vinyasa or Flow. This style of class tends to be a little faster and this may be something you need to build up to. If you are physically strong and fit from other training you participate in, then these types of classes will be fine to attend, especially if you are looking to be challenged in your practice.

If there’s anything else you want to know, please ask. You can get in touch with us on Facebook, Instagram, or on our contact us page. Of course, also feel free to drop in for a chat anytime. We are here to help you get the most out of your yoga journey and discover your truest self.

Namaste,
